Ambrosia

A modern BC-born variety known for its natural sweetness and low acidity. While primarily a fresh-eating apple, its gentle aromatics can add softness and fruitiness to cider blends. You can find it in some of our ciders, but you also can buy some crunchy sweet Ambrosia apples at the ciderhouse during the harvest (Mid-September - October)

Cidermaker Notes: Because Ambrosia do not have much acidity their use is limited in our cider, although in small amounts they contribute subtly sweet aromatics.
